I know this has been floating around raw and chinese subbed for a while, so I'd like to announce everyone's favorite BL translation group aarinfantasy has just released their sub of OVA 1. ^^

I myself won't be watching it yet, as I have yet to finish the game and wouldn't want to spoil anything. =\

It's the raw to episode 2 I've really been looking for. -_-;; Can't find it anywhere.

Oh, well, then I suppose we can wait and see if aarinfantasy subs the second episode as well. I'm sure they will. ^^'

Ah, but you see, I collect raws. Regardless, I want a /raw/ copy of it, but I don't think it'll ever happen at this point. >_<

I am surprised that you would want a copy of it. The OVAs haven't exactly captured the game's essence (to me, they are nothing like the game

)
If you look in aarin's forum, I am pretty sure you'll find it. I grabbed the 2nd ova yesterday.

Ah, then I guess that's the problem. I avoid that place like the plague. -_-;; Perhaps I'll get a friend to get it for me from there then.

Heh, I said I /wanted/ it, doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to watch it anytime soon. I'm a collector, after all. I've found that nearly all anime based after a ren'ai game, for the most part, suck in comparison to the game. I'm at least prepared for that. But I also know the truth from the game to make the comparison -- what drives me nuts is people that /only/ watch the animes, figure that is what the whole series is like, and then turn their nose towards the games. -_-;;

Ah~ I know EXACTLY what you mean. I almost died when I saw Shou and Chris, but I am still gonna collect the ovas cause it's still Angel's Feather.

Yes, it really sucks how many people suddenly jump on the bandwagon of game based anime and don't even know a game exists/don't care. Fate/Stay Night and Utamono are the most recent examples of this I've seen @_@, also Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. Sadly I am in the anime group of that. I just don't have the patience for the sound novel right now, but am doing my best to be well informed instead of looking like an ignorant newb. >_o

Odd question, since I'm not sure what the 'norm' of this is. Does the AF OVA use the same seiyuu from the game?

It seems to be so far. The second OVA goes upto when the group decides to goes after Reiyard. Except that they added two new charas (useless to the plot) and removed the teachers/black wings.
I think in most cases, they keep the same seiyuu.
