I just finished the game, so touched by the ending. Had to guess all the way after part 9 of the summary though. So a few questions if i may.

When the end credit roll over there are still several scenes left, what are those scenes about? What are those characters talking about?

I don't know, I have not played that far with translation assistance. I played the game before, a year ago, but that was WITHOUT AGTH, and I had no Japanese reading skills whatsoever then.

What is that last practice battle (the one where bunch of animated characters, who are one hit kill, come up to you and introduce themselves)? does it contian any secret?

It's just an omake where you meet all the creators of the game, from what I could tell (like Chrono Trigger's "Programmer's Ending")

How do i get the last two pictures? I believe they show Aruru fell near river bank or something

You have to win the game playing on the hard battle mode.

I figured people were probably starting to slowly lose interest anyway with the anime catching up (since it seems more people watch the anime to "get the story" than actually mess with the game to see the actual story in the game...).

First of all, thanks for even attempting a summary translation of the game, I've read them all so far and am eagerly and patiently awaiting more.

While I am watching the anime, I much prefer the character development and humour of the actual game far more then the compression that the anime has undergone [X the movie anyone?]. Please don't feel that your project is unappreciated, but also don't go too much out of the way in putting off the things you'd rather do. Even if you put the whole summary of the game on indefinite hold I'm sure people would understand as long as you let them know.

Again, thanks for all your work so far.

Any suggestion on beating the game at most difficult level? I die on the second battle, and that's so disacouraging.

Go to the anime for the story. That's a good one.

The anime cuts so much out of it, it's not even funny. :(

For me now, it's gone to the point of where I come here everyday checking for an update, rather than anidb for an episode release.

Once again, I greatly appreciate your summary translations so far, and I look forward to your future releases. :)

...I have some very regrettable news to report.

Recently, I had to restore one of my HDD's because of some file corruption. I did not know it, but my script file was saved on this HDD. Thus, it was restored to how it was a month ago... And thus, I have lost ALL the scenes to Part 10 that I had translated. Now I have to do them all over. This has made a very, very, very upset Mastress. -_-;;

I just saw episode 17. Like we all feared... Guura and Dorii are females on the anime. This episode had some everyday escenes. It was funny.

About tips on how to beat the hard modes... There aren't any specific strategies to this but, a good one is to always stick together... Drive the enemy to places where they can't freely move... Give Eruruu a special care thus, in the hardest dificulty, losing her means losing the battle on most cases. On the first part of the game spend all the bonus points in attack or defense. Combos are too expensive to be upgraded, at first.

And a final tip... SPOILER

Please, make sure you don't make Hakuoro too strong... Why? My Hakuoro was level 38, Attack 99, Def, 99 Mdef 40, 450 HP and Max combo. When he transformed into Uitsuaratemitea... He had over 1000 HP. His attack was 91 (He did 600 to Megumi and Dee with a single hit) his defense were both /??? (Megumi and Transformed Dee did 1 of Damage to him).

As you may know... At the end... Hakuoro and Dee fuse to transform, once again, into the real Uitsuaratemitea. Uitsuaratemitea stats are: Level: 78 HP: 6000 (I'm guessing here. I have done over 5000 Damage and his HP was still ???/???) Attack: 121 (He does +300 to EVERYONE, meaning, EVERYONE is death with two attacks) Def: 91 (Only the MaxAttacks can do serious damage... The normals do between 1 and100 excetp for: Kamyu: She does +300 with Normals and over 600 with Max. Karura: +200 with Normals, Over 700 with Max. Touka: +200 with Normals, Over 700 with Max. Both, Touka and Karura have 99 Attack. Kamyu has 82. All others do 1 and less than 500 with their Max.) MaDef: 80.

Why does this have to do with Hakuoro? The stronger Hakuoro is at the end... The Stronger Uitsuaratemitea will be. You have been warned... I haven't beat him, yet.

I just beat him... He, indeed, had 6000 HP. Watch out!

Someone was asking about what happens in the epilogue so...

The first with Oboro... The stone is the middle is Yuzuha's grave. She died after giving birth to Hakuoro's son. The "thing" that Oboro is holding is Yuzuha's baby.

After that, when Kurou and Benawi appear... Benawi ask if he is really going to leave and that, now that Hakuoro is gone he is the most suitable to take the place of the Emperor. Oboro refuses saying that he wants to show the world to Yuzuha's baby... The same wide world that Yuzuha could not see... After that, Dorii and Guura appear saying they will also go with him. Oboro tells them to stay but, they refuse and say even if he doesn't like they will go with him. Oboro finally agrees and they leave saying to Benawi and Kurou they will meet again, someday.

Benawi looks arround and Kurou says is going to be quite lonely without everyone arround... Benawi nods and say they have work to do and leave...

In Karura's and Touka's scene... I didn't get that much but, Touka complains that Karura spent all her (Touka's) money buying sake. After that some soldiers appears saying they will take their heads... It seems Karura and Touka became quite famous... Karura says that fighting them would not even count as a warm up... When they start to advance... All soldiers run away leaving their leader and, I guess, Karura and Touka kill him.

Now on the Onkamiyamucai... Urutorii is watching the moon when Munt enters the scene panicking... He complains to Urutorii saying that Kamyu had escaped, again and that her ways of fooling him are becoming a lot more clever with every escape... Urutorii laughs a bit and says it's ok... She is still young and she should enjoy her youth.

Back to the castle... Kuuya is playing a bit in the garden... Sakuya is watching her as always... Kuuya starts to point at diferent things... The fish, a butterfly and flower, etc... Then, they says it's coming... Sakuya asks what is it and Kuuya says a the smell of soil is coming...

We are now is the woods where Aruruu and Kamyu are playing... They are eating some honeycumbs. Kamyu says it was hard to get it and Aruruu says the harder the more delicious it is... After that Kamyu ask Aruruu if they will continue to be friends in the future and Aruruu says they will be friends forever... After that, Mukkuru roars a bit... Aruruu stands up and so does Kamyu as she says "Oji-sama..." Aruruu rides on Mukkuru and tells Kamyu to hurry up and get on... They leave...

Now with Eruruu... Eruruu goes out of the hous and says good day to the grandmother, Teoro, Soppoko and everyone else who died... She says she is and Aruruu and doing fine...

Out in the village everyone greets Eruruu and thank her for everything she does as a medicine master... Eruruu looks at the sky and says "Good day, Hakuoro-san... Aruruu and I are doing fine... We... We will always stay here..." right at the end she turns arround and looks at someone...

With what Kuuya said and the words of Kamyu I'm 100% sure that Hakuoro returned to the village...

No matter how many times I watch this end... I always cry at the end...

Huh? I haven't seen the episode, but if this is all that is shown, there is absolutely nothing in that image that shows they are male or female.

...If they are actually going to go so far as to change the gender of characters just to get around the boy's love, I'm not watching another minute of that anime. >_> I'm just thinking right now the whole "debate" is just because some fanboys can't handle finding male characters attractive and are thus looking for anything they can to make them female.

Geezus guys, it's okay. Dorii and Guraa are hot. You aren't gay if you think so. Now get over it. :-P

thx for your advice johnishida
1) but how did you get your stats to be so high? in the normal mode i never got any stats past 50 (except karura whose attack is freaking easy to pump). Is there anyway to get more experience point?
2) I also notice that at the end of battle i receive some points to put in any of the four stats, and those points i receive are different every time, so what are they dependent on? How do i get more of those?
3) You mentioned that kuuya say something like soil is coming, it doesn't really make sense, but there goes my theory of her ability to sense hakuoru
4) last but not least, how do you use spoiler tag here?

Well, the scene when Tikinaro was selling his stuff to Hakuoro he clearly said he had jewelry for the females and, to be honest, it is too much of coincidence that, while he say that, the showed an image of Dorii and Guura putting the jewelry on their hair.

About the anime, even though they cut most of the humor and everyday scenes is still pretty good, to be honest. The whole Shipekerimu arc was well done. The Kutcha-Ketcha was rushed though, when you compare it to the game the diference wasn't much.

What I didn't like was Kuuya's voice. Somehow, I imagined her voice slightly diferent... More girl-like. She talks and looks like a boy on the anime. Apart from that, I like it.

About my guys stats... When you play the hardest mode you can't help but re-try most of mission more than one time because is too freaking hard... Specially when you have to fight those damn Aba-Kamuu (The big mecha-like enemies). When you do so, all the EXP and Bonus points will be transfered to your next play if you click on Yes when you loss. Meaning, the more you play the same mission over and over the more BPs and Level you will gain. I once got +2500 BP with Hakuoro and Gengemaru. This was on the fight against the masked villagers which, in my opinion, is one of the hardest mission on the game.

About how you get the BS. You get +10 BS for each enemy the unit kills. You get 150 BS for just entering the fight (Only Once per battle meaning you won't 150 if you re-play it). You get +20 BS if you kill an enemy using a combo. I'm sure you get more if you kill it with a MaxAttack and you get +10 BS for each Level Up. Once away, the more enemies you kill, the more BS you will get for the character.

About Kuuya saying the Smell of soil is coming... SPOILER: If you go back to when Yuzuha meets Hakuoro she says that he smell like the soil. This is, in my opinion, due to he was, originally, an sleeping fossil. Also, for some odd reasong he was found frozen by the guys who created the underground laboratory. That is why they call him Iceman. I still don't get that part, to be honest...

Use
Code:
[color=black]Spoilers here[/color]

That makes the text the same color as the background, thus it has to be highlighted to be seen, which keeps the spoilers away from those that don't want to view them. And I'm really uptight about spoilers on my boards. :-P

thx for all your replies
let me try out the spoiler tag here
Anonymous has the priviledge to repost because if he pretend to be someone else no one would think it's a double post
anyway, joke aside
So what do you think are the best characters to use in battle? For the normal mode i use his harem, touka, karura, eruru, aruru, kamyu, and uruto. Kamyu and uruto are pretty useless before i get their light spell and dark spell, but once they got their fina magic (are those really their final magic?) they can kill off bunch of stuffs pretty quickly, and are very useful when i fight the mech like enemy. what do you think?

I don't like power gaming, so I actually use everyone equally. I think about what I need for the battle, and then try to bring the lowest-leveled people. It's just how I like playing my strat-RPGs. I prefer to use everyone and keep them evened out rather than favoring certain characters.
