I just stumbeld over a link to this game on another message board. Maybe it's already old news to everyone interested, but I sure never heared anyone mentioning it (thought, this might be due to it being a doujin game...).

Anyways, Narcissu is a short doujin visual novel game, a BxG one. The two advantages it got are a) been completely free to download and b) translated into english. I haven't played it yet, but might give it a try in the next days.

Wow! That sounds really...heavy! It seems really detailed, too...and very sad :*(

The pics are really cute...but it looks so melancholy, and really well done.

It'd be neat to be able to make a shoujo game someday, like that <3

Great game, I was tearing up through most of it... posted a thread on my site asking if anyone else had played it only a week or two ago in fact... ^^;

There's a sequel to this...well, technically, it's a prequel since it tells the girl's story in detail before the events of the original game...that is in the process of being translated.

The music in the game is lovely for a doujin production, and of course, the story is heartbreaking. While I could see the ending coming, it was still very poignant and sweet. I kind of wish the second game told more of the boy's story, since I wonder what happened to him afterward.

Have you tried Divshare? I've had pretty good luck with them. I'd love to hear the music if you have it! I used to leave some parts of the game running just to listen to the soothing sound. Good stuff to fall asleep to ^^;

I'll give it a try tomorrow if I have time. ^^

"Scarlet" and "I'm Right Here (vocal ver.)" always make me want to cry, they played during several of the more emotional scenes, really sticks... ^^;

Awesome, thank you! ^_^ I really like the vocals tracks, as well as the third one. You wouldn't happen to know the official titles for them, would you? I've been trying to use Wiki to match up the names.
