What's this? An update only three months since my last one? Surely there must be some mistake! A late April Fool's joke, maybe?
...Ya, I don't quite believe it either. This could very well be a new record: I actually finished a game and got an update up within three months! (And you have to understand, this was also while playing and finishing up a few bishoujo games, Chocolate Days and Angelic Concert Encore).
Added today to the game database is Lasting Snow. I really wanted to try to get it done while it was still the winter season, but as usually it took me longer than I had anticipated (but again, this is largely to the fact that I play more than one game at a time, and was playing it in-between other things as well). I won't really go into any details on what I thought of the game here, since then you wouldn't really need to read the review, would you? But I will say that I did enjoy it, particularly the Otoya/Shiki route (I didn't care quite so much for the other routes). This time I included some route summaries right onto the review (in black text so they have to be highlighted to be read). Hmm, I'm still wondering if I should that, given that is mass amounts of plot spoilers... (but on the other hand, there may be the people who already played that honestly didn't know what was going on, or would never really play the game anyway... I dunno, should I continue to put plot summaries up in the future? It's a little easier for me to offer something like this now because of AGTH).
Also, I've put up two Winamp skins that were submitted to me by Andreea, from Apocripha/0. These are my first BL/Girl game related Winamp skins, and also my first submissions to the Multimedia section in years (I think the last time someone submitted some wallpaper there, it wasn't too long after my site had opened). This also reminds me of how sad I am that I never receive any fanworks anymore, another section that hasn't been updated in eons (and the last time it was, it was my own submissions -_-;; ) Please people, if you have Multimedia or Fanworks, then submit them or die.
And last, but certainly not least, as I mentioned before the Contact section is now axed. I'd removed it before because people wouldn't follow the rules; then put it back up with even more disclaimers in even bigger font, and guess what? Since the "return" of the Contact section, I only received two legitimate e-mails. Two. Everything else is crap, crap, and more crap by people who couldn't read the rules, so it is now permanately axed, not to ever return. So from now on, this message board will be the only way to contact me. I think this is going to greatly take care of the problem, since a) I think most people are too lazy to actually make a message board account, which I think will cut down on a lot of the rule-breaking contact messages (I mean really, isn't it easier to just read the damn answer on the FAQ in the first place than creating an account to send me a private message asking me the question that is already asked on the FAQ?) and b) I can now ban said account if people send me such questions. Bwahahaha. Anyway, make yourself aware of the new procedure in this post.
As always, any comments you may have regarding this update, please post them here! Also, if you find any mistakes on my site (like I missed a Contact section link, or a file is broken, etc) please let me know, as I don't really have time to check everything out before I release an update.

Yay for fast updating. But seeing how you got through a X-mas card to the game, you didn't really expect finishing it in the same winter season, did you? ;P
I like the idea of going more indepht on the story/chara sections for the people that didn't get the hang of what was going on or want to know more before playing without being affraid of getting stuff spoilered. Sure, there are always people that complain afterwards, that it spoilered too much - but really, you should know what you are going to do, when you select and read a spoiler-marked and normally unreadable text >.>

I quite like the more indepth info, it helps me pick something that I'll quite like. I really don't like school romances that much so it helps decide what I will try to play through and those I won't bother.

Ah...after looking over the review (skipping over the spoiler summaries of course), you've made me want to dig out Lasting Snow and attempt to finish it again. ^^ I think it was over a year ago that I played this game and during the winter at that! I was near the end of Shiki and Otoya's route but never finished it. >< I never did think the other two pairings looked that great and judging by your comments I guess I was right, lol. Now that I know how to use AGTH, I'm sure I'd be able to grasp -much- more of the angst ridden story than before.
Poor Shiki, I wanted to hug him throughout the whole game. T_T
In regard to fanworks: I draw quite a bit, but nowadays it's always original works instead of fanart. Oh! I think I have some Meine Liebe fanart...um, erm, I'll get back to you on that. ^^'
