Since people were consistently e-mailing me questions already answered on my site, and not reading the disclaimers on my Contact section asking them to not do so, I have removed that section from my website.
So what happens if you really need to get ahold of me?
You must have a legitimate reason you need to contact me. Legitimate reasons include game trade offers, submitting fanart or multimedia to my site, or giving me comments about my site (things you like/don't like, wish to see, regarding my fanart or fanfics, etc.)
You may not contact me if you have a question that is already answered on my Frequently Asked Questions. Read that document. 99.99% of all questions I am ever asked are answered on the FAQ!
Additionally, I will not help you with the following:
-I will not help you get games or game related files (such as CG sets, etc). I will not send them to you, and I will not tell you places to find them.
-I will not provide any troubleshooting help on software such as how to use BitTorrent, IRC, Share, or other file-sharing apps, CD mounting or burning applications, or Windows regional settings.
-I will not provide game-related troubleshooting help. If after reading through all the Troubleshooting Guides and checked the Troubleshooting message board, and cannot find the answer you are looking for, then post your question to the Troubleshooting message board. If your question is related to how to get a certain event/ending/CG, then please ask on my Game Tips and Help message board.
-I will not help you with Anime Game Text Hooker use. If you have questions on how to use AGTH, then ask on the Hongfire Anime Games Text Hooker thread or my Game Tips and Help message board.
This is now the new procedure for contacting me:
1. You have read all of the above information and have assertained you have a legitimate reason to contact me.
2. Sign up for an account on this message board. Creating an account is free, and does not require any pre-approval.
3. Make sure you are logged into your message board account. Then, send me a private message on this board. You may do this by finding any post made by me (such as this post) or going to my profile page, and underneath my S&Ms avatar, the last icon (which looks like a sheet of paper in a folder) is the Send PM icon. You can click that to send me a Private Message.
You can also send Private Messages by going into your Private Messages. At the bottom of the main message board page, under "Info Center", on the right side you will see Your Private Messages and New Messages. Clicking on the number after Your Private Messages will send you to your PM box, and you can choose to send a new PM and input my name (Mastress Alita) from there. You can check your received PMs by visiting your PM box. If you have a new one, it'll show under New Messages.
4. If the message I receive is not legitimate (it violates one of the things mentioned above), I will delete it and will not answer it. If I get a second message of this type from the same user, I will ban that person's message board account. As you can see, I am now getting serious about this--don't ask me things I have asked you many times to not ask me! It could result in the banning of your message board account.
5. If your legitimate reason requires the need for e-mail (for example, you have fanart you want to submit to my site and need to send me attached files) then go through this process of sending me a private message, telling me your need. I will send you a private message back with an e-mail address you can send the files to. You must never give this address out to anyone.
I hope we are now all clear on what I expect regarding being contacted.

If you are contacting me about trading items found on my game list, please read the following guidelines closely:
Trading Guidelines
What I Accept When Trading
-I prefer to trade games for games, and I like to trade in an equal manner based on the size or rarity of the game. I collect all forms of ren'ai games: boy/girl, girl/boy, boy/boy, or girl/girl games, and items that fall under my "Wanted" lists under each category are things I'm particularly looking for. Games must be in CDROM, PSX, or DVD format, with the copy protection properly handled, and be the Japanese versions. I do not have a PS2 and cannot accept any PS2 game trades.
-I only trade audio CDs on rare occassions, and typically only for other audio CDs. I prefer audio CDs in zipped .mp3 format (at least 128/44 quality), and trade them on an album-to-album basis.
My Expectations When Trading
-I'm not obligated to accept a trade. Either way, I will let you know whether I have accepted a trade or not, but sometimes it'll take me a little time to get around to e-mailing you. Make sure to put the name of my site, like "Boys' Love Games Headquarters," "BLGHQ," or "Boys' Love Games" in the subject. If you just put "Trade" or "Hey" or something similar, it'll likely just get deleted with the massive amounts of spam I receive.
-I will not trade any commercial English games. Please support the companies by purchasing these games.
-I absolutely WILL NOT trade with anyone who sells burned games, or who will supply games from my trades to other burned-game sellers. If I find out this happens, I will be most unpleasant. Games from my trades are to be for private use only.
How I Do Trading
-I prefer to trade via the internet if at all possible, since this cuts down on the time and cost of snail-mail trading. This will typically be via IRC or an FTP, and if you are initiating the trade, it would be nice if you have a plan of how the files will be exchanged. Note that I will not use YouSendIt (or any other file upload websites), e-mail, or instant messengers. I do have an FTP server set up on my computer that can be used if needed, but I do not have very good bandwidth and accessing the FTP requires using passive FTP login, and an FTP program that supports file resuming is a must. If none of these options work for you and there is no easy way to exchange files, I'll likely have to decline the trade.
-Snail-mail trades will now only be done in extremely rare cases, usually only if it is something I am quite desperate for and there is absolutely no other alternative to exchange the files. If you initiate a trade with me via snail-mail, I will expect you to send your half of the trade first before I send mine. I will also not be held responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in the mail.
